times & dates

April 1 – 31st October

We cruise everyday typically at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00

During June/ July & August we will also operate a 5pm cruise.

We may also operate cruises outside of these times when there is high demand, click HERE to see our up to date availability or get in touch with us to request a time you can’t see.

Please note, we have a new vessel for the 2026 season and it is unlikely Nessie Hunter will be sailing. We will release more details closer to season start but rest assured, our new boat will still hold a max of 12, it just improves on what everyone loved about the Nessie Hunter!

We depart from the beautiful village of Drumnadrochit (click here for directions) . You’ll be directed to our pickup point by our friendly staff in Celtic Crafts, which is where you’ll collect your tickets, and also have a chance to see some of the finest crafts and gifts made in the local area. At our pickup point, you’ll meet your skipper for the cruise, and they’ll whisk you down to the local harbour where they’ll assist you in boarding the Nessie Hunter. And then the fun really begins!

We’ll head out and our skippers will start their live commentary. We’ll head to the deepest point of Loch Ness, show you the marker posts used by John Cobb during his water speed record attempt, tell you all the secrets of Urquhart Castle as we cruise close to the ruins and of course our skippers will tell you all about our shy monster, they may even tell you some first hand stories about their own sightings!

Dogs and pets

When we say a fun day for the family, we really mean it! We welcome well behaved pets aboard our hourly trips, and over the years, we’ve seen many types. You’re able to book your dog a space when you make your online booking for no extra charge and we’ll confirm your booking as soon as possible (We only take 2 on each cruise to keep plenty of space). For any other pets, just send us a message and we’ll be happy to assist.
